Marian Husted, MScAT, received her master's in art therapy from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2006. She worked in hospice care for all ages at Marie Curie Hospice and the Royal Edinburgh Psychiatric Hospital with anorexic youth. Marian also worked with inner-city African-American youth at Riverside Psychiatric Hospital in Washington, DC. She has been working since 2007 as a supervising rehabilitation therapist at Coalinga State Hospital, a forensic-psychiatric facility that treats civilly committed sex offenders.
