Sharon Strouse, MA, ATR-BC, LCPAT

Sharon Strouse, MA, ATR-BC, LCPAT, is an author, teacher, facilitator, speaker, and survivor. Her world dramatically changed on October 11, 2001, when her 17-year-old daughter Kristin ended her own life. Collage-making in response to the trauma of loss became a template for her work with others. She is a grief and bereavement specialist and workshop presenter for The Compassionate Friends, The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, and The Association for Death Education and Counseling. Sharon is a board member on the Johns Hopkins Medicine's department of psychiatry and behavioral sciences. She is the author of Artful Grief: A Diary of Healing.
