Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

SOLD OUT

This daylong Master Class is intended as a primer for the therapeutic use of mandalas. We will cover the theoretical underpinnings of the mandala-making practice in the Western world, its historical and philosophical origins, and the development of the MARI® by Joan Kellogg. In the experiential component, participants will practice a variety of mandala-making techniques applicable to group and individual settings. Participants will also be completing a mini-MARI, and learn its unique language of symbols and colors. This mandala-making class will focus on three central themes: the element of mystery; applications to grief and loss; and the healing geometry of the mandala. Poetry and writing will also be incorporated.

Eligible for 6.0 Credits: ATCB, NBCC; ASWB, APA, MFT, Nursing; SWNYS
