Ethics in Arts Therapies Private Practice: Getting Started, Staying Current

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

ROOM 803

The speakers will walk participants through a typical day in their private practices and will discuss the ways in which they have implemented coherent, consistent, accountable and ethical business choices. They will cover topics such as contracts, legal matters, respecting your worth, and tax implications, from the point of view of protecting the wellbeing of both client and therapist. Participants will have time for a creative break in which to explore their concerns about and emotional readiness for private practice. Whether or not you need ethics credits, if you love doing psychotherapy but find the details of doing business to be daunting, this is the workshop for you.
